One of four editions from Cory Arcangel’s (RR) series, this vivid red composition is marked by a diagonal cut that gently opens the frame, evoking both abstraction and the aesthetics of a digital interface. Like a cropped screen or a window poised to expand, it hints at movement and transition. Arcangel’s use of stock digital imagery takes on new resonance here – a surface that, while rooted in the static logic of design software, subtly resists fixity through light, reflection, and spatial context.
